Lolo Jones, who is the champion of the USA and World the hurdle championships, achieved this status after many years of dedication and endurance. She was the only child of a single mom with five children, Jones had a difficult and impoverished childhood. Her mother was constantly moving and she even spent some time living at the bottom of her home. Jones, who lived in a mobile and nomadic lifestyle from the moment she started high school, had to transfer to a brand new school each year. Jones was separated from her family during Theodore Roosevelt to pursue athletics in track and field.
