Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress best known for playing Bo on the Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk, a well-known actor and director. He was also a playwright, educator and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories are of attending the play school and watching her mother perform. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for children. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto in her quest to act and improve, before moving after that, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she discovered in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. The couple was married civilly in December 2009. They were married in Fredericton on April 10, 2011, they renewed vows, following Silk's decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, her second child was born May 13, 2016. Silk's television work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009 she landed the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk announced to the fans the good announcement that she became pregnant on the set of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase at an exclusive Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20th 2013 that the show was coming back for a fourth season of production. Season Four debuted on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN's Cable News Network named her performance as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top TV Couples. E! named them the Top TV Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk, as a result its growing popularity on social networks has grown to a huge online fan base.
